Briana Varto, LPCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
Briana started as a grief volunteer for TRU in 2017 where she helped facilitate the Healing with Horses & Healing Circles kids’ groups. She did her practicum and internship with TRU during 2020-2021 where she facilitated groups and met with individual counseling clients. Briana began working for TRU in 2021 and now manages the grief support groups and volunteers, along with seeing individual clients.
Briana strives to create a safe place for individuals to share their experiences with grief and loss. She understands that grief can be life-altering and believes that no one should have to go through it alone. She feels honored to walk alongside her clients through such a significant journey.
In her free time, Briana enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on a run, and walking outside with her dog.
