When you shop or donate at TRU Thrift Shop, you’re doing more than running an errand. Every item helps fund hospice care, palliative care, grief support, memory care, and aging-in-place programs for families across Boulder County and nearby communities. It’s a simple way to turn everyday generosity into meaningful care for people who need it most.

Donating Items
We gratefully accept donations of clothing, accessories, furniture (pickup available), household items, small appliances, books, décor, jewelry, and collectibles.
Donation drop-off hours: Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11 am – 4 pm.
Furniture pickup is available by appointment — email thriftshop@trucare.org or call (303) 604-5353. While we can’t accommodate every request, we’ll do our best to work with you.
When dropping off, please arrive during donation hours, keep items bagged or boxed, and remain in your vehicle — staff will come to you.

Please note the following information about our donations procedures:
- All items must be cleaned and contained in bags or boxes.
- Furniture will be evaluated by staff and accepted only if in clean, gently used, salable condition.
- Please drive up to the area indicated and remain in your vehicle; staff will come to discuss your donation with you.
