JOB SUMMARY

SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS
Schedule is Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. No nights, no weekends! ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provides patients with personal care as designated in the plan of care; understands Colorado law related to the supervision and delegation process from RN to CNA
- Understands general physical symptoms as they relate to end of life and has an understanding of non-medical interventions
- Performs transferring and positioning utilizing appropriate equipment per standards of practice and with patient safety as priority; understands good body mechanics and use of safety and transfer devices to prevent injury to self and patient
- Incorporates patient/family preferences and goals within the plan of care
- Supports and respects the patient’s and family’s unique diversity, including spiritual and cultural beliefs
- Completes documentation in an accurate and complete manner as per agency standard and in compliance with regulatory standards
- Provides patient and family education as appropriate; areas of education include, but are not limited to personal care, procedures, diet, and safety

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a current Colorado C.N.A. license
- Must be a high school graduate or possess a GED
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, provide proof of insurance indicating you have $100k/$300k Bodily Injury/$100k Property Damage coverage, and have reliable transportation
SALARY
$20 – $24 per hour
