TRU Community Care Seasons of Life Program

TRU Community Care Seasons of Life Memorial Program was created as a way to honor loved ones while raising funds to be able to offer our full range of our medical, emotional, and spiritual care to those who simply cannot afford these services during some of the most challenging days of their lives.

The Seasons of Life Memorial Program honors and recognizes loved ones when donations received in their name total $1,000 or more as a one-time gift, or given cumulatively over time.  Many families designate TRU Community Care as the beneficiary of memorial contributions in newspaper obituaries or through publications at funeral homes. The names of those being memorialized are added to our virtual Memorial Wall along with their story and photograph(s).  This information can then be accessed and shared with anyone, anywhere in the world.  We are pleased to offer this capability, especially for those loved ones who may not be able to attend a Memorial Reception.

Memorial Receptions

Our Seasons of Life Memorial Receptions are held for those who have made a memorial contribution, as well as family and friends of each individual being memorialized.  Guests attending the reception are welcomed by the President & CEO of TRU and can meet other families who also are remembering loved ones. Each family is encouraged to submit a story about their loved one along with a photograph to be displayed during the reception, and afterward on our virtual Memorial Wall.  One of our Chaplains shares from the stories submitted, and names of all those being memorialized are read aloud in remembrance. Each family also receives a family keepsake to commemorate their loved one.

If you are interested in honoring someone special in your life, or have any questions about our Memorial Receptions, please call our Philanthropic Services Department at 303.604.5389.
