We’re Here for Life’s Most Important Moments
When you or someone you love is facing serious illness or loss, you deserve care that honors your whole life—not just your diagnosis. At TRU Community Care, we walk alongside you with compassion, expertise, and respect for what matters most to you and your family.
We believe that every person deserves to live fully, to be heard deeply, and to receive care that reflects their values and wishes. Whether you’re seeking comfort during illness, support through grief, or help to keep a loved one thriving at home, we’re here with the kind of care that feels less like healthcare and more like family.
Nearly 50 Years of Caring for Our Community
Since our founding as Boulder Hospice in 1976, we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside thousands of Colorado families during life’s most tender and challenging moments. What began as a small hospice has grown into a family of services, but our heart remains the same: to bring comfort, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.
As a nonprofit organization rooted in Colorado, we’re honored to serve our neighbors across Boulder, Broomfield, Adams, Jefferson, Arapahoe, Denver, and Weld Counties—and beyond when families need us.
Care That Meets You Where You Are
We know that everyone’s journey is different. That’s why we offer a range of services designed to support you at every stage:
TRU Hospice – Compassionate end-of-life care that focuses on comfort, quality of life, and honoring your wishes in the place you call home.
TRU PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) – Comprehensive care that helps seniors continue living independently at home with all the medical and social support they need.
TRU Palliative Care – Relief from pain and symptoms at any stage of serious illness, helping you live as fully and comfortably as possible.
Landmark Memory Care – Specialized, compassionate care for those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
TRU Grief Services – Support and companionship as you navigate loss and find your way forward.
Excellence You Can Trust
While our focus is always on the people we serve, we’re also committed to the highest standards of care. TRU Hospice is accredited by The Joint Commission and recognized as a five-star hospice through the The National Alliance for Care at Home’s We Honor Veterans program program, created in partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
We’re proud members of leading healthcare organizations including The National Alliance for Care at Home, the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI), the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC), Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE), and the National PACE Association (NICHE). We’re certified by Medicare and Medicaid and licensed by the State of Colorado.
These credentials matter—but what matters most is how we show up for you and your family every single day.
