Cat Kitson is a Grief Counseling Intern at TRU Community Care. She is currently in her final semester before graduating with her master’s in counseling from Regis University. Cat was drawn to grief work from her own personal experience with grief and she has found a personal and deeply meaningful fit in bereavement counseling. Cat uses a person-centered approach to grief work, which fits the unique canvas of grief, and allows her to meet clients where they are at in their individual emotional experience. Cat firmly believes in the sacredness of the grief experience and strives to create a space where clients can be seen, understood, and supported as they make sense of the immense change that comes with loss.
