The TRU Hospice Thrift Store Boulder is a good place to start sharing your time, if you’re not ready to volunteer to work with patients and families yet. The hours are flexible and the atmosphere is friendly. By sharing their skills, our volunteers make new friends and make an impact for TRU Community Care.
My friends and colleagues often ask how I find the energy to spend my precious free time volunteering and “working” at the thrift store with a full-time job. I just silently laugh to myself because I hardly think of volunteering at the shop as working. The TRU Hospice Thrift Shop allows me to do three of my favorite things simultaneously: spend time with great people, contribute to a worthwhile cause, and shop ‘til I drop! The staff respects the fact that volunteers have lives and other commitments to attend to and appreciate any time I can give. I can truly recognize that my efforts are making a difference. When people ask me about my life goals, my answer is that I want to retire early so that I can dedicate more time to volunteering.

From the East:
On Arapahoe going west the TRU Hospice Thrift Store is just past Cherryvale on the right side of the street. It’s between Cherryvale and 55th St.
From the West:
East on Arapahoe, you will pass 55th St and the TRU Hospice Thrift Store is on the left just past the sign for Arapahoe Animal Hospital. The TRU Hospice Thrift Store is between Cherryvale and 55th St.
