TRU Hospice Thrift Shop Volunteer Opportunities
Use your experience and skills in a meaningful way by joining our team at TRU Hospice Thrift Shop! If you’re looking for a fun, energetic, active and upbeat volunteer gig, then this is for you! The Thrift Shop provides critical funding to TRU Community Care where your hours spent volunteering apply directly to dollars for a much needed nonprofit organization. We offer volunteer opportunities for individuals (ages 5+) and families, as well as community and corporate groups. Individual background checks are only required for ongoing positions for volunteers over the age of 16.
We welcome friends, neighbors, corporate and community groups of 2-30 people. Bring your group of friends or colleagues and invest time in your local community. You’ll build team cohesion, boost morale, increase motivation, and have fun while contributing to your community. Group volunteer events can make a big impact on the hospice services available in your local community.
Ask your employer’s human resources department for information about your company’s community service activities.
We are so lucky to be able to accommodate volunteers of all ages.
High school and college students 15 years and older are encouraged to join our volunteer team. In addition to feeling good about giving back, you will also gain an experience of a lifetime.
We welcome volunteers who are required to complete community service hours for school, church, court, scouts, or workfare benefits. No background check is required for short-term community service.
